BUY OR SELL A HOUSE WITH ME, AND I’LL MAKE A 50 LB DONATION!
Over the last several years, my husband, Matt, and I have rescued 2 cats and 6 dogs. Today, we share our home with a miniature dachshund named Fritz, a pit/lab mix named Bayley, and a pit/boxer mix named Charlie. Our pets have enriched our lives more than we can express!
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
I have partnered with Nebraska’s Animal Loving Advocates (NALA) Rescue, a local animal rescue in the Omaha-area. I have watched Angie, the founder of NALA, build this incredible organization from the ground up. From day 1. Words cannot express the level of dedication she and her team have to saving and improving the lives of animals.
I asked NALA Rescue what their needs are. Of course, they’re ALWAYS in need of more foster homes as they intake a large number of animals. But they’ll also always need food, especially cat food. This is where WE come in!

NALA Rescue’s Misson:
“Our mission is simple: We want to revolutionize the way people think about animals and animal rescues. We want to educate people on the dangers of puppy mills and the realities of backyard breeders. We want to provide a loving home to all animals we encounter–the feral, the unwanted, the damaged and the lost. We believe every living thing not only deserves love but has so much love to offer. We accomplish our mission through our core values of love for all living things and faith that we can change our culture and create a world where rescues are no long needed.
Our founder saw a need in our community and founded NALA Rescue out of her own home. It is based upon her own commitment to create change. We were founded to fill a gap in animal services and rescues; we focus on those aspects of animal care and rehabilitation that is often overlooked by others. We have been a vital part of our community for a number of years and we are picking up steam! We have continued to grow with the help of our donors and volunteers that make our mission possible. Through all these years our purpose still remains the same: bring services to those in need.”
